I want to defend our Northeast Georgia values against the rising wave of socialism. I am passionate about protecting the community that raised me and the principles we stand for.
LIFE
From the moment Bo first heard the sound of his daughter Hallie's heartbeat, his life was forever changed. As a father, he is proudly 100% pro-life. In the State Senate, Bo co-sponsored SB 456. This bill prevents the delivery of abortion-inducing medications without first having an in-person doctor’s visit. As your State Senator, Bo will always work to protect the lives of Georgia's innocent unborn.
SECOND AMENDMENT
As your State Senator, Bo will fight to restore and protect gun rights. In fact, Bo was proud to co-sponsor Georgia’s Constitutional Carry Bill that passed in the 2022 legislative session. Our Founding Fathers understood that self-defense is a fundamental right given to us by God. The Second Amendment was drafted to ensure the American people could defend themselves against a government that infringed on their God-given rights. "A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."- Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States
PROTECTING CHILDREN FROM ADDICTIVE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
In the most recent legislative session, the General Assembly took a commonsense step to protect our children by passing a bill—now signed into law—that requires parental consent before children can access to social media platforms. Even though the law isn’t set to take effect until July 1, 2025, opponents have already filed a lawsuit to try to stop it. In addition to this key piece of legislation, Bo also introduced a bill that would outlaw any child 14 and under from having a social media account regardless of parental consent. There is a lot of scientific data that shows when children are exposed to social media too early, it can severely affect their mental health. As your State Senator—and as the proud father of four daughters—Bo will fight tirelessly to defend the law that was passed this year and pass the bill he introduced this year.
TAXES
The General Assembly has worked hard over the past three sessions to lower the tax burden on Georgians. As your State Senator, Bo will work hard to make sure we keep cutting taxes and leave you and your families with more of your hard-earned money.
JOBS
Bo knows that hard-working Georgians create jobs, not the government. At the Capitol, Bo will fight to get the government out of the way by reducing unnecessary and burdensome regulations on small businesses. By doing this, he knows Georgia will continue to attract new jobs and investments.
HEALTHCARE
Healthcare decisions should be made between doctors and patients, not insurance companies and the government. As your State Senator, Bo co-sponsored legislation that would prevent local and state government from mandating vaccines and vaccine passports. Bo will always support patient-centered healthcare that keeps the government out of your business.
LIMITED GOVERNMENT
Bo believes that if Americans are to truly be free, we must work to reduce the size and scope of government. The radical socialist policies of the left continue to infringe upon and diminish our freedoms. As your State Senator, Bo will fight to reduce the size of government and protect our Northeast Georgia values from socialism.
